CWM Automation are delighted to announce that we have recently won an order to design and build a twin-head rotary filling and lidding machine for a customer in Ireland. This particular line will be capable of filling 500ml pre-formed pots with soup at speeds of up to 45 pots/minute.
With the convenience foods sector, including the soup industry, facing pressure to meet increase demand and develop their product lines, many companies are now looking to invest in automated equipment. CWM can work with soup producers to develop filling and closing solutions that will meet their production requirements and increase their overall efficiency.
Scope of Project
Our customer was seeking a flexible filling solution that could accommodate a range of packaging shapes and sizes. CWM presented the customer with a scope for a twin-head rotary filling and lidding machine, along with change parts to suit the 3 different pot formats. The line will consist of an auto cup loader, cup dispense, twin-head filler, auto lid loader, lid dispense, lid tamp and eject.
Not only will CWM provide the customer with a high-quality rotary machine, but we will be including an initial spares package, plus a 6-month service post-installation to ensure the machine is operating smoothly. Our dedicated after-sales service team will be on-hand post-installation to assist the customer with any queries regarding spares, servicing, training or repairs to keep their machinery working to its full potential.
