Another high-quality filling solution has recently left our factory to be installed and commissioned. This time, a rotary starwheel bucket filling and sealing machine, designed to fill hot fruit compote into 5kg & 10kg buckets at a rate of 11 buckets/min.
Scope of Project
Constructed on a stainless steel box section frame and controlled via a single touch screen HMI, this bucket line consists of a bucket denester, starwheel, single-head servo filler, real feed sealing station and lidder.
Buckets are denested into a starwheel, which is rotated via a servo drive unit to provide ultimate control. At the filling section, product is pumped through 1off rotary nozzle. Once filled, the buckets will then move onto the sealing station, which cuts and seals film onto containers from a reel stock. Lids are then dispensed via a servo operated gripper type pick and place assembly. A lid tamp ensures that lids are correctly placed onto the buckets to guarantee product quality.
