Dairy case study – Langage Farm

The Brief

Langage Farm were seeking a reliable, versatile solution to fill glass jars with four different flavours of fruit compote and yogurt. Their aim was to increase overall throughput, while maintaining hygiene standards and quality levels.

The Solution

CWM Automation provided Langage Farm with a highly flexibly 4-lane single index glass jar filling and lidding line, achieving output speeds in the region of 80 jars/minute. Machinery was fitted with a 4-head servo controlled volumetric filling assembly, capable of storing numerous different product recipes. The machine was also equipped with CIP (Clean in Place) function and metal detectors to ensure product quality and adhere to safety/hygiene standards.
